Our Story

In 2008, Bob and Donna Kaye Byrd, along with two other visionary families, established Hope Hollow Ministries as a place for children touched by disability. Inspired by their daughter Amanda, they aspired to provide these children the chance to enjoy a Christian summer camp experience and stay connected with others through year-round programming. Their daughter, Amanda, was born with CMV which affects her with profound bilateral hearing loss, mild CP, and developmental delays.

The Byrd family were passionate and had the vision to create a place in Central Mississippi that was dedicated to enriching the lives of children with disabilities as well as their families. They fully understood how difficult it was for families that could not find opportunities for their children's needs similar to their own daughter.

They still remain highly involved in the ministry, serve regularly, and have helped lead the programming that benefits families where children like their own could gather with their peers and experience the joy and fellowship of programming designed just for them.

Ladies Auxiliary

The Hope Hollow Ladies Auxiliary was founded in 2010. They volunteer their time, pray, and help raise financial support solely for Hope Hollow Ministries.
